Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Pega-based solutions using Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander) and related frameworks.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional application designs.
- Build and configure Pega applications, ensuring they meet business needs, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform complex integrations with third-party systems, leveraging Pega’s integration capabilities.
- Ensure application scalability, security, and performance through continuous optimization and testing.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Pega applications and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Document technical specifications and solutions for future reference.
- Stay up-to-date with Pega product updates and best practices to ensure ongoing improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Pega PRPC development (Pega 7.x/8.x).
- Strong proficiency in Pega’s design and development tools, including Case Management, Data Pages, and Activities.
- Experience with Pega Frameworks (e.g., Smart BPM, Customer Service, Financial Services) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Pega Rules, Process Flow, and Work Object Management.
- Ability to design, implement, and manage integrations with various systems (SOAP/REST, MQ, DB, etc.).
- Experience with Pega’s Agile methodology, DevOps, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud-based testing tools or testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- ISTQB or similar testing certification.
- Familiarity with mobile automation testing using Appium or similar tools.
- Experience with UI/UX testing and understanding of user interface design principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
