Agile Facilitator

Remote – Fulltime Position (1 or 2 times a month work from office)

An Agile Facilitator plays a crucial role in helping teams and organizations adopt and scale Agile methodologies effectively. They act as a coach, mentor, and servant leader, ensuring that Agile teams remain productive, collaborative, and aligned with business goals. By facilitating Agile ceremonies, resolving impediments, and driving continuous improvement, the Agile Facilitator fosters a culture of agility, transparency, and innovation.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Agile Facilitator to support Agile teams by enabling collaboration, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring Agile principles are effectively implemented. The Agile Facilitator will work closely with teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to drive Agile adoption, remove impediments, and facilitate Agile ceremonies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitation & Coaching

    • Guide teams in Agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
    • Coach team members and leadership on Agile principles and mindset.
    • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, etc.).
    • Support cross-team coordination and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement

    • Identify and remove blockers that hinder Agile adoption and delivery.
    • Foster a culture of transparency, self-organization, and continuous learning.
    • Measure team performance through Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, etc.) and suggest improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog refinement and prioritization.
    • Help bridge gaps between business, development, and operations teams.
    • Drive alignment between Agile teams and organizational goals.
  • Change Management & Agile Transformation

    • Advocate for Agile adoption at all levels of the organization.
    • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Assess Agile maturity and develop strategies for scaling Agile practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Agile Facilitator, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive team engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), PMI-ACP) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large-scale Agile environments.
  • Background in software development, product management, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles and DevOps practices.
